Below you’ll find some of the tough questions we get asked about Mindfulness Based Achievement - along with our honest answers. The MBA Program isn’t right for everyone. We’ll tell you everything about the program and what it takes so you can make the best decision for you.
WHEN DOES THE MBA PROGRAM START? WHAT HAPPENS IF I MISS ONE OF THE LIVE CALLS?
You’re busy, we get it.
That’s why if you’re traveling or working on a project with a crazy deadline, you don’t have to worry about missing out on the core content because you get lifetime access to The MBA Program.
That means you can never “fall behind.” You’ll learn at your own convenience and the training materials will be there for you for as long as you need them.
The first MBA Module will be released as soon as you register!
Our LIVE Group Coaching Calls take place in the third Wednesday of each month at Noon PST and last about an hour.
If you can’t make a call, we’ll record it for you. Again, the MBA Module content is available online. It’s also downloadable to your computer and viewable on your mobile phone or tablet. This is a multimedia course that s delivered in video format, audio download, guided meditations, one-of-a-kind exercises, detailed action steps to keep you on track, and a written road map.
Please note that LIVE Group Coaching Calls with Vanessa and Lisa occur the third Wednesday of each month at Noon PST. If you’re traveling during that time period, you will only have access to the call recordings. The ability to get coaching from Vanessa and Lisa during Live “Deep Dive Calls” is reserved for the MBA Program participants only.
WHAT IF I FEEL STUCK AND DON’T KNOW WHAT I WANT YET? WILL THIS HELP ME FIGURE OUT WHAT TO DO NEXT?
While the majority of our students have an inkling about what’s next, we’ve also had great success with people who started the program with no idea what they wanted or are still refining their vision.
In the MBA Program, you’ll go through our 7 Step Process to gain clarity.
First, you’ll learn about connecting with your Values and Conscious Goal Setting to avoid costly mistakes many of us make when we transition in our lives.
Second, now more than ever, you need to start behaving mindfully if you want to create balance and be successful without feeling exhausted and overwhelmed. Understanding what’s holding you back and stopping you from achieving your goals is vital to take you to the next level in your career and life.
Third, we’ve created a bonus program for you that’s included in The MBA Program called Creating Your Own Personalized Roadmap.
This bonus program gives you the personalized tools you’ll need to tackle some of the biggest, toughest obstacles you may be facing such as:
“How do I decide what to do next?”
“How do I balance a career, a family and time for myself?”
“What if I have an idea of what I want, but I haven’t done anything with it yet? How do I move through the fear and take the first step?”
We’ll tell you the honest, no BS answers to these questions and more. We’ve included worksheets, action steps and additional resources to help you find clarity and start taking action.

HOW MUCH TIME DO I NEED TO COMMIT TO VANESSA AND LISA’S MBA PROGRAM?
Probably not as much as you think! Our grads estimate that about 2-3 hours a month works very well. Each module is about 60 minutes and then there is a 60 minute LIVE Group Coaching Call each month.
The first two modules of the program are the most intensive and require the most time. This is because the first few modules are the most in-depth. They are designed to help you develop a deep foundation on which to build a meaningful life.
Other factors that will affect how much time you’ll need for MBA Program are:
How experienced you are in mindfulness
How open and willing you are to change and try new things
Your overall clarity and how quickly you make decisions
You level of involvement (weekly or biweekly emails or calls) with your assigned MBA Program Buddy
Whether or not you choose to participate in our LIVE Group Coaching Calls (these are highly recommended, but optional)
Whether or not you participate in the comments and conversations in the MBA Program community (again, recommended, but optional)
Whether or not you complete every recommended action steps
If you choose to go through the program live with us and fully participate in every aspect of the course (LIVE Group Coaching Calls, comments, conversations in the community, etc.), a very rough time estimate would be 3-4 hours per month)
WILL VANESSA AND LISA’S MBA PROGRAM WORK FOR ME?
Here’s the deal. No program works unless you commit and take action. If you’re expecting The MBA Program, or anything else, to magically solve all your problems, please do not sign-up.
Plus, we actually care that you implement our material.
We know that if you do the work, you will achieve results in your career and your life. We’re challenging you to think differently, to behave differently, and to become the person you’re meant to be.
You can’t get results by osmosis. You must do the work. Transformation is 20% Insight and 80% Action. Understanding something intellectually or conceptually vs actually doing it are two completely different things. It’s like reading a manual about how to ride a bike vs just getting on a bike and starting to ride. Success in the MBA program requires that you ride the bike and take consistent, focused action.
DO I GET ACCESS TO THE MBA PROGRAM ALL AT ONCE?
Yes, you can, but we recommend that you complete the program in order. The MBA Program is carefully designed so that you complete each Module and the corresponding action steps, in order. This is a proven program and it’s vital that you follow the system.
If you’re the type of person who always wants to “jump ahead,” and get to the “good stuff” because you “know all this already,” this may not be the right program for you.
Everything has been designed to maximize your results and long-term success. We would not have thousands of raving fans and successful grads if our meditations and this program were poorly designed.
Once you complete the full MBA program, you get year lifetime access and can re-visit the Modules in any order you like.
WILL THERE BE GROUP WORK?
As we’ve shared previously, we have a very active global community and you’ll be connected with a Buddy to support you through the MBA Program.
We know that everyone has a different learning style and it’s fully up to you to form connections with others, if that’s what you’d like. While we encourage community and group sharing, it’s not a requirement so if it isn't your thing, no biggie.
IS THE MBA PROGRAM FOR WOMEN ONLY?
We've actually had a few brave men in our MBA Program! But in fairness, the MBA Program was designed with women in mind so that's who we tend to attract. Both Vanessa and Lisa coach men & women in their private practices.
WHAT IF I ALREADY HAVE A DEDICATED MINDFULNESS PRACTICE, AM LEADING MEDITATIONS OR I’M A COACH OR THERAPIST? AM I TOO ADVANCED FOR THIS?
That all depends on you. If you’re willing and open to learn, you will receive tremendous benefits.
We’ve had mindfulness teachers, coaches, therapists and meditation leaders take our program, and they’ve all raved about the results. What we’ve created is completely unique because it combines mindfulness and meditation with visioning, conscious goal setting, self-compassion, willpower, daily habit and ritual building and many other tools. So this program is unlike anything else you’ve taken or heard of.
If you’ve already taken an MBSR or other mindfulness program, or have a long standing daily meditation practice, GREAT! You’re ahead of the game. You’ll be able to use the foundation you’ve already built to accelerate your results in the MBA Program. We view these other programs as completely additive to the MBA Program, and many of our grads have told us they were so glad to have taken the MBA Program in addition to other programs as they drew so many more connections and were able to go even deeper with the material.
WHAT IF I’M NOT READY NOW? WILL YOU BE OFFERING THE MBA PROGRAM AGAIN?
If you want to join the MBA Program, do it now. Think about it. There’s never a time in life when you’re ever truly “ready” to do anything. You will always be busy and always doubt your “readiness.” Like Nike says, Just Do It.
WILL I GET ONE-ON-ONE COACHING OR FEEDBACK FROM VANESSA AND LISA?
This is a group coaching program. But Vanessa and Lisa are very active in the comments and will respond to your questions directly in the live Group Coaching Calls, and we'll make sure you feel supported. All you have to do is raise your hand!
